Garden of Reflection
The Garden of Reflection was created to honour and commemorate those SAS personnel who have paid the ultimate price for their service and the sacrifice of their families they left behind.

Memorial Garden
The SAS Memorial, simply known as 'The Rock' is the centrepiece of the Garden. The names inscribed upon 'The Rock' are those Australian SAS personnel who have died whilst on active service or during training.
Garden Features
The Memorial Garden features individually inscribed stainless steel discs that commemorate SAS personnel who died while serving with the unit, though not on duty. It offers a quiet space for visitors to reflect on the cost of SAS service. Surrounding the central feature wall, the garden blooms with 'Happy Wanderer' and 'Lily Marlene' roses. During the 2012 ANZAC Day Dawn Service, a catafalque party stood watch while an adjacent building displayed a projected image of the SAS badge. The garden honors deceased former members of the Australian SAS, with the West walls containing pre-cast cavities for ash interment. For those who choose not to be cremated, the East walls provide a place of commemoration. Both East and West walls feature the SASR Golden Jubilee Rose. At the 2012 ANZAC Day Dawn Service, floral tributes encircled 'The Rock', adding to the garden's solemn atmosphere.
